Every day, a child is diagnosed with cancer. 85% of children survive, but 15% do not. Despite successful research, childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among children. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund is the largest financier of childhood cancer research in Sweden. To save more children’s lives and ensure treatments become harsher on cancer but gentler on the children, more research and innovation are needed.
